i started doing runway when i was 3 years old my mom used to model and she's the one whom got me started since i was into everything my mom had did...i did local fashion shows i even did a show for JET magazine when i 4 yrs old for their traveling fashion shows!
2000-2004 i did runway for Fashion Bug clothing stores...they wanted me for print (magazine & advertisement) and i was just a pinch away from being Fashion Bugs youngest print model they fought for me so hard but because you have to be 18 to print at their company they said i would have to wait because they did let me do their runway and i was to young...and by time i became 18 i was in school living and did not want to drop out now if i was working for them prier till then i woudve pushed school back but since i started i wanted to finish and have something under my belt!
2001-2004 i had got MYSELF an "all around talent agent" from the John Robert Powers Acting & Modeling Agency and did a television commercial for clinique cosmetics it aired just a few times in december 2003 there was a problem with the campaign and it aired late last air was new years eve because in january of 2004 they started a new campaign for the new products being released...couldnt work with him any further because my mother and i had money issues!
2007 i tried out for Americas Next Top Model Cycle 8 and made it 2 rounds just 1 round away from moving into the house reason for me not making it into the house the scoots said that i was a "pretty girl with a nice body for a full-figure woman" but they gotta let me go cause i "look like i was trying out for the pussycat dolls" which was auditioning people at the same time and then asked me if "i came to the right audition" i was in shock and thought this is so not professional but it happens in this type of work and you have to have a thick skin so i did not shed a tear i left with my pride and dignity...Tyra did want more full-figure women for her show since she only had 2 full-figured women in prier seasons...she had not one full-figured woman on cycle 8 and was not to pleased with her scoots...they record every young lady that comes in fir her audition...so when cycle 9 was going to air they contacted me personally and asked me to come back for the new cycle i turned them down due to the discrimination i faced in cycle 8... i dont know if they really felt bad, i believe they thought i was going to take them to court for the situation that occurred in cycle 8 but i didnt i moved on kept faith in myself and the lord cause he gave me my gifts for a purpose and i know my time will come!!!
